\u015eamil Education and Culture Foundation (\u201cFoundation\u201d) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the International Nart Mythology Digital Art Competition (\u201cCompetition\u201d). The Competition, which was first announced on May 17th, 2022, captured the attention of many artists from Turkey and abroad, and 59 artists applied to the Competition with a total of 71 artworks.
\nThe artworks submitted before 17.00 on December 23, 2022, the deadline of the Competition, have been evaluated meticulously by the esteemed Jury Members of the Competition, who are well-known artists with immense expertise and experience in their respective fields, and the Competition was concluded with the final evaluation conducted on January 15, 2023.
\nThe results of the Competition have been announced on the Foundation’s website and social media accounts.
\nThe participants sent their artworks to the Competition under a pseudonym and the ARTWORKS were evaluated solely based on the adaptation of NART Mythology and whether they met the artistic and digital drawing criteria, regardless of their identity, profession, education, and nationality.
\nDuring the voting of the artworks, international competition procedures were followed. First, for each entry, an individual preliminary evaluation was conducted by the Jury Members separately and a shortlist was created placing the entry with the highest score from the Jury Members at the first place. And in the final evaluation, where all the Jury Members were present (online), the final decisions were made on whether an entry received an award or not.
\nThe awards of the winners of the Competition will be presented at the Award Ceremony to be held at the Foundation\u2019s premises in February (the date will be announced later).
\nThe Certificates of Participation will be sent to the participating artists via e-mail individually.
